Since its inception in 1994, The Fair
Winds Brass Ensemble has given concerts in Connecticut and New York
including several at the Greenwich Library and Bruce Museum, the
Ivoryton Playhouse and the Community Music School in Centerbrook. For
many years they held a residency at St. Mark's Episcopal Church in New
Canaan. They are versatile musicians who perfom many styles of music
including Baroque, Classical and Jazz. Celebratory music for weddings
and parties and children's concerts are specialties. They have the
resources to expand to 10 or more players or downsize to a trumpet duo
or solo.
